Our Taxicab Liability program targets small to mid-sized local cab fleets and owner-operators with at least five years of experience. They should have well-maintained vehicles that are less than 13 years old and experienced professional drivers. The majority of our book is written on a non-admitted basis. We do have the ability to provide admitted paper where required by jurisdiction.

Typical Coverage Afforded

• Primary Auto Liability Written on a Commercial Business Auto Form - Up to $1,000,000 per Accident
• Comprehensive General Liability - $1 million per occurrence, $2 million aggregate
• Excess Auto Liability - $1 million per occurrence
• Auto Liability on Symbol 7 Basis Only
• Composite Rate on Fleets over 25 units
• Minimum & Deposit 100%

Prohibited Classes

• Black Cars, Limousines, Shuttle Buses
• Para Transit Vehicles (except Excess Auto) 
• Accounts with 5 year loss ratio of 50% or higher
• States that require No-Fault coverage

• Completed and signed Accord and Markel Supplemental Applications
• Five years of currently valued loss runs
• Current MVRs for all drivers
• No broker or policy fees (other than administrative) charged to the insured
• Documented safety and accident procedures
• Requests for limits over $500,000 CSL must have a minimum of three vehicles
